Community integration is important to those we serve; volunteers play a special role in meeting this need.
Volunteers are critical to the services and programs we provide to our participants. It’s important that volunteers feel comfortable working with our participants and understand some basic requirements. Please note that volunteers working directly with persons with developmental disabilities may be required to undergo a state background check, TB test, and some introductory training.
We sincerely appreciate your interest in helping Oswego Industries and the Arc of Oswego County by volunteering your valuable time! There are many ways to get involved, and you are a vital link to creating awareness in the community about developmental disabilities. To best place your skills to our needs, please fill out the Volunteer Application, and identify your areas of interest and availability.
