Oswego Industries presents FLAME the Band

Oswego Industries will host a free concert for the public featuring FLAME, a group from upstate New York made up of 10 people with developmental/physical disabilities, including autism, Down’s syndrome, and blindness.

FLAME is now an international touring band in high demand producing 4 CDs and having guest appearances and performances in People magazine and ABC’s “Good Morning America”.Formed in 2003, the band from Lexington Center, Fulton County Chapter, NYSARC, Inc. has steadily made strides in changing the world through music. They are a phenomenon inspiring people and changing the way the general public view people with disabilities. People of all ages and backgrounds find connections with this special rock band, especially those who have a disability.

The concert has been made possible by a grant to ARC of Oswego County through NYSARC, Inc.

WHEN: Friday, September 15th from 6 to 8 p.m.

WHERE: West Linear Park, Oswego, New York

DETAILS: Doors open at 5. Venue is handicap accessible. Cost is free. All ages welcome.  Food and beverage available for purchase.
